Or, about that time I found God for the first time for the last time....

As I stood on the rocky lakeshore a few miles from Roslyn, the Sunchaser sat inert a quarter mile away, broken down but not abandoned as the others enjoyed a barbecue dinner in its imposing shadow. I'd seized a twilight's moment of respite to tiptoe away from the bedlam to cry across a placid pond we'd discovered together. Now, alone and wrought with sadness and confusion at my separation from Lady Feather, I sang in the undisturbed air and cried and cried and sang until my voice hit a tenor that landed on a piercing cadence that was no longer my own. The Almighty had taken hold, just as I hoped it would, and the conversation now taking place was no longer about me and my girlfriend, which was trivial at best; but was now and forevermore an open dialogue with the Higher Consciousness. This is what we said to each other.
